I'd love to design an experiment on whether more information actually helps people make better judgment.
But I have no idea how.
Rest assured.. I'll be working on some crazy scheme for next few days regarding this....
edit: There has been few really famous experiments on this - but I'm just thinking of a really simple experiment that anyone can conduct. (Best example of an experiment which answers this question is in Malcolm Gladwell's book - Blink)
